Legal Advice

Expert legal advice on an issue facing your organisation. This project can be tailored to suit your individual needs. For example, support for a particular programme, addressing a legal or governance challenge or providing advice on commercial and business issues.

David provides legal advice to charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises across a wide range of areas. These include: 

• Incorporations, mergers and restructures
• Contracts and procurement
• Constitutional reviews and amendments
• Commercial and business issues
• Governance and compliance matters
• Grant agreements and fundraising
• Liaison with the Charity Commission and other regulators.    

In this project, David will either work with you on a particular matter or make time available over the project period to advise you on various legal issues as they arise. If your proposal requires a greater degree of support than is available through this project, David will discuss this with you at the outset and identify those aspects of the work which will be delivered free of charge. Please note that David does not provide advice on employment issues, disputes, intellectual property or conveyancing.
